Local regulations & reporting
Every country has its own reporting rules for hotels and short-term rentals, from tourism data submissions to guest registration and local fees. Getting these wrong can mean fines, rejected submissions or extra admin at the worst possible time.
This hub brings together the country-specific requirements SabeeApp customers ask about most, alongside how SabeeApp handles the reporting for you.

SabeeApp is also widely used in regions where data reporting regulations are less strict, including:

Day to day
Compliance work usually falls into two buckets: data your hotel has to report to an authority, and money your hotel has to collect and account for correctly. SabeeApp handles both without extra spreadsheets.
GuestAdvisor's ID scanning captures guest details from any ID at check-in and shares them with your PMS, ready for the reports each country requires, such as NTAK in Hungary or TM30 in Thailand.
Fees like Greece's Environmental Fee are configured once in your tax settings, then applied automatically to every reservation, itemised separately from your room rate and city tax so nothing gets missed on the folio.
SabeePay processes card payments under PCI DSS and PSD2/SCA compliance, so your payment data protection doesn't depend on manual checks.

It depends on the country and requirement. For some, like NTAK, reporting is only possible through NTAK-compatible PMS software such as SabeeApp. For others, SabeeApp prepares the export and you submit it, or the requirement is a fee collected on your behalf rather than a report filed with an authority. Each country guide explains exactly how it works.
No. This hub explains how SabeeApp's software supports common local requirements. It isn't a substitute for legal advice, and requirements can change. Always confirm current rules with the relevant local authority or your own legal counsel before relying on anything here.
This varies by country and regulation, and SabeeApp isn't in a position to advise on penalties. Check with the local authority named in the relevant country guide, or your legal counsel, for what applies to your property.
