SabeeApp’s 2025 Recap & 2026 Plans

As 2025 draws to a close, it’s the perfect time to reflect on what has been a transformative year for SabeeApp. From product upgrades to our biggest-ever event, 4WARD, SabeeApp has been moving ahead to help hotels thrive in a rapidly evolving industry. In this post, we’ll recap the most important developments of 2025, and give you a sneak peek of what’s coming in 2026. It’s been an exciting journey so far, and we’re thrilled to share how far we’ve come and where we’re headed next.

Recap of SabeeApp’s Most Important Developments in 2025

Growing Community

SabeeApp continued to expand its reach in 2025, serving a worldwide community of over 6,000 hoteliers across 70+ countries. To better connect and support this growing user base, we launched the SabeeApp Community platform which is an online hub where hoteliers can exchange ideas, explore product updates, and help shape SabeeApp’s future direction.

Product Enhancements and New Integrations

On the product front, 2025 was packed with improvements and partnerships designed to make hotel management smarter and more seamless. We introduced powerful new integrations:

  • Lighthouse: real-time pricing insights and automated revenue management
  • Locky Tech: cloud-based access control system
  • Hyperguest: B2B marketplace connecting hotels with offline demand partners
  • BookOnlineNow: an advanced online booking engine
  • EzyHotel: a Swiss-based hotel marketing agency
  • Dormakaba Ambiance: access management software
  • Hotelinvoicer: a cloud tax-compliant invoicing system built specifically for the Greek hospitality sector
  • TTLock: a smart-lock platform that combines mobile app control with advanced access-sharing features
  • Pricing Coach: AI-powered revenue management system

SabeeApp also expanded into new regions this year. Notably, we strengthened our presence in the Baltic markets ahead of Lithuania’s 2025 NTIS reporting regulations, offering localised support and compliance-ready tools for hotels in the region. 

Also, we are now fully compatible with Greek data reporting regulations, myDATA and Green Tax, making it possible for Greek properties to be 100% compliant with SabeeApp. It means data submission (with the help of Hotelinvoicer), real-time reporting, and continuous updates while processing all data securely.

Rebranding: New visual identity and logo

2025 was also a year of reflection and rebranding for SabeeApp. After 14 years of continuous growth, we undertook a brand refresh to ensure our identity reflects who we are today. This culminated in a new logo (revealed at our 4WARD event) that cleverly unites a house, the universal symbol of hospitality, with a forward-pointing horizon that signifies progress and direction. The fresh visual identity embodies what SabeeApp stands for as we head into the future: modern, friendly, and forward-looking. With this renewed branding and a solid foundation of achievements in 2025, we felt ready to take on our next chapter with confidence.

Recognition and Achievements

The industry took notice of SabeeApp’s progress. In June, we were honoured with Booking.com’s “Performance Champion: Hotels” award for 2025, which recognised SabeeApp for driving strong booking growth, stable connections, and advanced automation features that help properties maximise occupancy and revenue on the Booking.com platform. 

SabeeApp also earned a Level II Global Customer Support Certification from Hotel Tech Report, reflecting our dedication to fast, effective customer service across key support channels. These accolades validate our mission to make hotel management simpler and more reliable for clients.

Renewed Booking Engine 

In December 2025, we began rolling out our new Booking Engine to customers in phases. The updated version introduces a clean, consistent interface designed to keep guests focused on completing their reservation, with fewer distractions and a smoother booking process.

You can customise its look and feel to better match your hotel’s own website, while the mobile-first design ensures a seamless booking experience across all devices. With more travellers booking on their phones, this update helps accommodation providers convert more direct bookings without compromising on brand or usability.

Together, these improvements reflect SabeeApp’s ongoing commitment to building tools that are not only easy to use and conversion-focused, but also reliable and secure for everyday hotel operations.

SabeeApp’s Biggest Event: 4WARD

One of the absolute highlights of 2025 was 4WARD by SabeeApp, our biggest event. Held on 6 November in Budapest, 4WARD brought together over 120 property owners, general managers, and tech partners for a day packed with hotel tech innovation and networking. The goal of 4WARD was to spark conversations about the future of hospitality and to showcase what we’ve been working on, including a sneak peek at SabeeApp 4.0, our refreshed brand identity, and insights from industry experts.

The energy in the room was incredible, and it truly felt like a milestone moment in SabeeApp’s journey. Huge thanks to everyone who participated and made it unforgettable!

Here’s the key takeaways and trends from the event which will also be meaningful in hospitality and tourism in 2026: 

  • Powerful hotel technology is more important than ever: During the event, our Head of Partnerships, Dávid Máté, presented an exclusive preview of the upcoming SabeeApp 4.0. The new version is faster, smarter, and redesigned with extensive user feedback in mind. As guest expectations and operational challenges continue to evolve, having flexible and future-ready technology is no longer optional. It’s a critical factor in long-term success for accommodation providers.
  • Having the right integration partners is crucial: At 4WARD, there was an opportunity to talk with several integration partners of ours, including Booking.com, RoomRaiser, RoomPriceGenie, Placcon, Fruitsys, and more. For attendees, it was like a mini hotel-tech expo, where they could discover new tools and see how these integrate with SabeeApp to create a connected, one-stop solution.
  • AI is a strategic advantage for properties: Given how hot the topic of artificial intelligence is, we made sure 4WARD dived into the future of AI in hospitality. During the event, we unveiled findings from SabeeApp’s own industry research on AI adoption among hoteliers. Szabolcs Herman and Dr. László Kökény presented some eye-opening stats and trends which will shape Hungarian tourism in the upcoming years. 
  • Human connection remains at the heart of hospitality: We closed the day with a relaxed networking reception, complete with great Hungarian wine and plenty of conversations. Many attendees shared how valuable it was to finally meet the people behind the software and to connect with fellow hoteliers face to face. For us, seeing the SabeeApp community come together in person was both motivating and deeply rewarding, and it served as a reminder that while technology continues to evolve, human relationships remain central to hospitality.

What’s Coming in 2026

With such an eventful 2025 behind us, SabeeApp aims for an even more exciting 2026. So, what’s on our roadmap for the year ahead? In short: a suite of major product updates and innovations with a goal to make SabeeApp more powerful, more intuitive, and perfectly aligned with the latest hospitality trends.

Upcoming Developments and Features

Our new CashDrawer module, coming in January, is fully integrated with SabeeApp reservations, and it will help you stay on top of every cash movement at your front desk. Its key features include drawer-to-drawer transfers, currency exchange handling, detailed reports, alerts for unusual transactions, and it supports multiple drawers and currencies.

We will also release an AI FrontDesk Agent. It will integrate both social messaging platforms (e.g., WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Viber) and OTA communication channels (e.g., Booking.com, Airbnb) into a single interface, and incoming messages will be handled by AI. If the AI cannot provide an appropriate response, the message is automatically forwarded to a secondary inbox where the front desk staff can take over and respond manually.

SabeeGo, a mobile solution will allow owners and managers to take their business in their pocket, providing real-time insights and letting you manage key operations even when you’re not sitting in front of your laptop.

Most importantly, in 2026 we will release our biggest software upgrade yet. The upcoming SabeeApp 4.0 version of our Property Management System has been redesigned to be faster, smarter, and more user-friendly than ever. 

We’ve taken to heart all the feedback gathered from users and focused on features that make a hotelier’s day easier. For example, SabeeApp 4.0 introduces a Daily Activity Snapshot on the dashboard with smart widgets that give you an instant overview of your property’s key metrics and tasks. We’ve unified list views across the platform for consistency, so managing reservations, guests, or rates will feel familiar no matter where you are in the system. An Action Center will centralise all urgent tasks and alerts in one convenient place, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks. We’re also refreshing the calendar and reservation interfaces to be more intuitive and easy-to-use for new team members.  

All these improvements are aimed at giving property owners and managers a clearer overview and more control at their fingertips. In short, SabeeApp 4.0 will be the most powerful tool that you need to manage your hotel, hostel or apartment, and we can’t wait to get it into everyone’s hands in 2026.
