Lithuanian hospitality compliance guide
Lithuania's confirmed requirement today is NTIS, Lithuania's National Tourism Information System. SabeeApp is Lithuania's official NTIS partner, and reports automatically once connected.
Quick facts
The regulation
NTIS collects, stores and manages Lithuania's tourism data in one place, part of a wider push to unite tourism data and let government and industry work from the same information. E-turistas is the specific NTIS subsystem dedicated to registering tourists.
The requirement applies broadly. Every type of accommodation provider, not just hotels above a certain size, must submit data on adult guests and any accompanying minors within 24 hours of check-in.
What gets reported
NTIS asks for a defined set of details on every adult guest, plus the number of any accompanying minors. With the API integration these fields come straight from the reservation and check-in data your team already captures.
Four recognised methods
Three of the four options keep someone on your team typing, uploading or chasing guests every single day. The fourth removes the task.
SabeeApp PMS
NTIS
SabeeApp is Lithuania's official NTIS partner and connects via API integration, so guest data moves to NTIS automatically as reservations are made, without a manual submission step for your front desk team.
Setting it up is a one-time process: register with E.Tourist, generate an API key, then add it to SabeeApp and link your rooms. If you manage more than one property, each one needs its own E.Tourist registration and API key. The full guide below walks through every screen.
Every Lithuanian property reports the same guest data. The only real choice is whether someone has to type it.
Set it up once, then let guest data reporting happen automatically within the 24-hour window, every time.
FAQ
Lithuania's National Tourism Information System, administered by Keliauk Lietuvoje. It collects tourism and guest data to support the country's tourism sector, under Tourism Law Article 32(3) and related Schengen Convention and GDPR requirements.
All of them. The requirement covers hotels, apartments, hostels, guest houses, farms and sanatoriums, not just properties above a certain size.
Within 24 hours of check-in.
Yes, registration happens directly on ntis.lt; SabeeApp then connects using an API key you generate there. The integration itself is free. Each property needs its own registration if you manage more than one.
Both are covered step by step in the connection guide linked above. For NTIS-side issues, E.Tourist support is reachable at info@ntis.lt.
