Local Requirements
Important Requirements for Using GuestAdvisor Application
To ensure the GuestAdvisor applications operate safely and reliably, certain conditions must be met. Please review them carefully below.
First and foremost:
The Smart Solutions module must be active in your account. Without this module, the GuestAdvisor applications cannot function.
Online Check-In Requirements for Individual Reservations
For online check-in to be available, the following conditions must be met:

The reservation must be for a future arrival. (Online check-in is not available for past bookings.)

The booking must have a Confirmed status.
(Optional, Canceled, or No-Show reservations cannot use online check-in.) -
The booking must be assigned to a room or conference room.
(Rooms with subtypes such as garage or technical are not eligible.) -
Online check-in must be enabled in the GuestAdvisor Tools → Settings menu.

The reservation must fall within the online check-in time window defined in the GuestAdvisor Tools → Settings menu.

The booking must be under an active cancellation and payment policy, check-in/check-out policy, or group policy.
Online Check-In Requirements for Group Reservations
All individual booking requirements listed above apply to group reservations as well.
In addition, the following must also be true:

All members of the group must have the same booker guest.
Requirements for GuestAdvisor Smart Room Access (NUKI and Assa Abloy Locks)
For guests to use smart room access, these conditions must be met:

A smart-lock connection (NUKI or Assa Abloy) must be active in Settings → Marketplace, and the lock must be linked to the correct guest room.
(Smart-lock room mapping is set under Settings → Property Policies → Other Policies.) -
Depending on your setup:
-
If Auto Onboard is off, the guest’s booking must be in Onboard status.

If Auto Onboard is on, the reservation must be in Checked-in status.

The guest must complete the required verification:
-
PIN verification for NUKI locks
-
Guest (User) verification for Assa Abloy
(If the guest wants access on multiple devices, each device must be verified.)

Smart-lock access remains valid only while the reservation is in Checked-in status and until the latest possible check-out time.

Guests must have:

An active internet connection on their device
-
Bluetooth enabled
-
Location access granted
-
Mobile data or Wi-Fi enabled
