What is CashDrawer?
CashDrawer is a digital cash management system that helps you track and control cash across multiple locations, currencies, and users. It gives you real-time visibility into cash balances and maintains a complete audit trail for every transaction.
Simply put, CashDrawer combines a digital cash register with secure, accurate record-keeping in one powerful tool.

Centralised Money Management
Instead of managing cash drawers manually or using multiple separate systems, CashDrawer brings everything into one place. You can see the status of all your cash locations at a glance.
Multi-Currency Support
If your business operates in multiple countries or accepts different currencies, CashDrawer tracks balances in each currency separately and can convert between them.
Real-Time Visibility
Know exactly how much cash you have at any moment. The dashboard shows you current balances, recent transactions, and alerts about potential issues.

Every transaction is recorded with full details including:
- Who made the transaction

Who Can Use the CashDrawer?
CashDrawer is typically used by team members who handle cash, such as staff managing the front desk, restaurant, or bar. It allows them to record payments received and cash paid out to suppliers.
Multiple team members can use the CashDrawer simultaneously, but access depends on their role in SabeeApp:
- Owners – Full access: can record and modify transactions and make any changes in CashDrawer.
- Operators – Can record transactions and balances, but cannot make changes. If a correction is needed, they must request a one-time passcode from the owner to proceed.
Important Security Notes
- Certain actions require PIN codes for security.
- All transactions are automatically recorded with the user’s name and timestamp.
- Only authorized users can access CashDrawer.
How to Get Started with CashDrawer
- Enable the CashDrawer module – Go to the Subscription page in SabeeApp and switch on the CashDrawer module.
- Access – Once the module is switched on SabeeApp account owner and operators automatically have access to CashDrawer.
- Log in – Use your SabeeApp credentials to sign in to CashDrawer.
- Set up your drawers – Go to Cash Drawer Settings to create and configure your drawers.
- Add transaction categories – Review existing categories and add any new ones you need.
- Add suppliers – Enter your vendor information in the Suppliers section.
- Start using CashDrawer – Begin recording transactions as part of your daily workflow.
