🏨 Configuring Room Types in SabeeApp for a Successful Booking.com Connection

To ensure a smooth connection between your SabeeApp account and Booking.com, it's important to correctly map your room types.

If the room types exist on both platforms but appear unclickable during the mapping process, this guide will help you identify the issue and complete the setup without errors.


✅ Step 1: Complete the Initial Setup

Before mapping your room types, make sure you have completed Step 1 and Step 2 of the [Connection Guide]. These steps prepare the system for room type pairing.


🔗 Step 2: Room Type Management (Step 3.1 in the Connection Guide)

Once you reach Step 3.1 – Room Type Management, you can start pairing your SabeeApp room types with the corresponding ones on Booking.com.

How to Begin Mapping:

2. 1 Select your Hotel ID.

2.2 Click on the pencil icon ✏️ next to a room type.

2.3 Choose "Connect to an existing Booking.com room type".

2.4 A table will appear, listing available Booking.com room types to map with your selected SabeeApp room type.


⚠️ Common Issue: Not active Room Type

Sometimes, the room type you need from Booking.com is listed but not active, — unclickable. (for example: Apartment - Ground Floor on the above screenshot). This usually indicates a mismatch in Room Type or Property Type settings between SabeeApp and Booking.com.

Example:

  • A 2-bedroom apartment may be set as "Apartment" in SabeeApp, but listed as "Holiday Home" on Booking.com.


🔄 How to Resolve a Room Type Mismatch

To successfully connect the room types, their settings must match across both platforms.

🛠️ Update Settings to Match:

1. Check Booking.com Settings

  • Log in to your Booking.com Extranet.

  • Verify your property type and room type settings.

2. Update SabeeApp Settings

  • Go to Settings > Room Type Settings in SabeeApp.

  • Adjust your Room Type and Property Type to match the ones used on Booking.com.

Note:
If the room type in Booking.com already has future reservations, changes may be restricted on their side.
In such cases, update the settings in SabeeApp to match Booking.com instead.
