Agoda

What to Expect After Connection to Agoda

Once your SabeeApp account is successfully connected to Agoda, several key elements will begin to sync automatically between the two platforms. This ensures that your availability, rates, and restrictions stay consistent and up to date.

🔄 What Information Is Synced Between SabeeApp and Agoda?

From SabeeApp to Agoda:

  • Room availability

  • Prices (based on your configured rate plans)

  • Minimum night restrictions

  • Maximum night restrictions
⚠️ Agoda supports a maximum of 90 nights

  • CTA (Closed to Arrival)

⚠️The CTD (Closed to Departure) restriction must always be set in the Agoda extranet, as unfortunately we are not able to sync this setting directly from your SabeeApp account to the channel.
  • Rate plan open/close settings

From Agoda to SabeeApp:

  • New reservations created in Agoda will automatically appear in your SabeeApp calendar

  • Credit card data is included with reservations
⚠️ Except for Agoda Collect reservations, where payments are handled by Agoda

💳 Understanding Agoda Collect Reservations

When a reservation is made under the Agoda Collect (Channel Collect) model:

  • Agoda collects the full payment from the guest

  • They deduct their commission upfront

  • The net amount (after commission) is what you’ll receive and what will appear in SabeeApp

Example:

  • Guest pays 100 € to Agoda

  • Your agreed commission rate is 15%

  • You will see 85 € in SabeeApp (100 € – 15%)

⚠️ Important Notes About Room or Pricing Changes

If you make any changes in the Agoda extranet related to:

  • Room types (e.g., adding, removing, or modifying rooms or occupancy)

  • Rate plans (e.g., adding or deleting pricing options)

👉 Please notify us immediately!
These changes require manual reconfiguration of the Agoda connection on our end to ensure everything continues syncing correctly.

⚠️ Agoda AV Replication Project

We would like to bring to your attention that Agoda has introduced a new selling mechanism under the AV Replication Project.

How it works:

  • When no allotment is available in YCS, Agoda may automatically top up allotment if it receives inventory from other B2C OTAs for specific check-in dates.
  • The tool only applies when the same room type is active in YCS, and it will follow the rates, rate plans, and sell limits that were already set up by hotels in YCS prior to the top-up.
  • Allotment is adjusted immediately upon booking to reduce overbooking risk.

Why this matters:

Some clients have reported overbookings caused by this auto-replenishment process. In several cases, hotels were automatically enrolled in the project without being aware.

Recommended Action:

  • Please check if your property has been enrolled in this pilot project.
  • If you prefer not to participate, we strongly recommend that you contact Agoda by using the Support button at the bottom right of YCS or contact your respective Market Manager and request to be opted out.
