🔄 What Happens When Property Ownership Changes on Booking.com
When a property changes ownership on Booking.com, certain system rules apply that affect your connectivity setup with SabeeApp.
❌ Automatic Removal of Provider Connections
As soon as ownership changes:
- All existing channel manager connections are automatically removed by Booking.com
- This means SabeeApp will no longer appear in the property’s list of connectivity partners, therefore there will be no connection between SabeeApp and Booking.com
đź”— Reconnecting After Ownership Change
Even if the new owner or manager plans to continue using:
- the same Booking.com account, and
- the same SabeeApp account,
👉 a new connection must still be established.
To do this:
- Log in to the property’s Booking.com extranet.
- Go to the Connectivity settings.
- Select SabeeApp again as the connectivity partner.
- Complete the reconnection process.
âś… Key Takeaway
Changing ownership on Booking.com always resets provider connections. The new owner/manager must reconnect SabeeApp as the channel manager, even if no other account details have changed.
