Overview

i-escape is a boutique travel platform featuring hand-picked hotels, guesthouses, villas, and eco-retreats in over 50 countries. Guests book directly with the property through i-escape’s award-winning system, supported by a team of experienced travel consultants.

To connect your property on i-escape with SabeeApp, the integration works through a third-party bridge using TravelgateX (TGX) and WuBook.

The data flow looks like this:

Because this integration works through several layers, setup needs to be coordinated carefully between your i-escape Account Manager (AM) and your SabeeApp Account Manager (AM) to ensure accurate syncing of prices and availability.

Step-by-Step Setup Guide

Step 1 — Contact your i-escape Account Manager

Reach out to your assigned i-escape AM and request activation of the TravelgateX connection for your property.

⚠️ Only i-escape can create and configure the property connection within TravelgateX. You cannot start this process from SabeeApp or WuBook directly.

Step 2 — Confirm your pricing model

i-escape typically connects using your booking engine rates — the same prices displayed on your own website.

Before setup, confirm with your i-escape AM which rate plan should be connected. You may decide to:

• Use your existing booking engine rate plan, or
• Create a dedicated rate plan for i-escape (e.g., with a different markup or discount).

Once this decision is made, inform your SabeeApp AM so they can connect the correct rate plan through WuBook.

Step 3 — Contact your SabeeApp Account Manager

After your i-escape AM confirms the TravelgateX setup, contact your SabeeApp AM to request the connection between TravelgateX, WuBook, and SabeeApp.

They will handle the technical linking process on SabeeApp’s side.

Step 4 — Configure room pricing in TravelgateX

TravelgateX supports per-room pricing (not per-person pricing).

If your property charges different rates depending on the number of guests, please inform your i-escape AM so they can configure this correctly.

For example:

If a double room can host 3 guests and there’s an extra fee for the third person, ask your i-escape AM to set up a third-person supplement fee in TravelgateX.

This ensures that i-escape displays accurate total prices for all occupancy levels.

Step 5 — Wait for confirmation from SabeeApp

Your SabeeApp AM will notify you when the integration setup is complete.

Once you receive confirmation, proceed with the final checks below.

Step 6 — Final checks

After setup, verify the following to make sure everything is syncing correctly:

1. Your property appears correctly on i-escape.
2. Availability and rates match the connected rate plan in SabeeApp.
3. Supplement or extra-person fees are displaying correctly.
4. Test several room types and date combinations to confirm accurate syncing.

If anything looks incorrect, contact your i-escape or SabeeApp Account Manager to review the configuration.

Notes and Recommendations

• Minimum stay restrictions:

  i-escape currently does not support minimum stay on arrival restrictions. Make sure your overall minimum stay rules are set up accordingly.

• Coordination is key:

  Because multiple systems are involved, any issue must be reviewed by both i-escape and SabeeApp support teams.
