Rate Plan Settings

🛏️ What is a One Night Rate and How Does It Work?

A One Night Rate is a special rate plan used in your Internet Booking Engine (IBE) to control pricing for guests who are searching for exactly one night.

🔍 How It Works:

  • When a guest searches for a 1-night stay, the IBE will only show the One Night Rate, if one is set.

  • This applies even if you have other active rate plans that allow 1-night stays — the One Night Rate will overridethem.

đź’ˇ Why Use It?

The One Night Rate is ideal if you want to charge a higher price for 1-night bookings, without completely blocking short stays.

  • You're not restricting guests from booking just one night.

  • You're simply offering it at a premium rate compared to longer stays.

⚙️ How to Set Up a One Night Rate (for IBE)

Follow these steps to create a special rate that applies only when guests search for 1-night stays in your Internet Booking Engine (IBE):

  1. Go to the Rate Plans section in your SabeeApp account.

  2. Click “Add New Rate Plan.” (name it and save it)

  3. Click on the new rate plan and then click “Show Tools”“Edit Settings”

  4. In the Rate Plan Category dropdown, select “One Night Rate.”

    • This tells the system that the rate should apply only for 1-night searches.

  5. Activate the rate plan for your Internet Booking Engine:

    • Find the option “Available for IBE.”

    • Toggle it ON (green) to make it visible to guests on your booking engine.

  6. Set your pricing:

    • Option A: Link this rate plan to your Master Prices and define how this rate should differ (e.g., add a % or fixed increase).

    • Option B: Manually upload your 1-night prices using the Price Wizard.

⚠️ Important Notes:

  • âś… IBE-only feature:
The One Night Rate only works in your Internet Booking Engine.
Even if it’s made available for OTAs, it won’t override your other rate plans when someone searches for 1 night via an OTA.

  • âś… Overrides minimum stay rules:
Even if you set a 3-night minimum stay within this rate plan, it will still behave as a 1-night rate.
It will always be applied when a guest searches for exactly 1 night.
