Unified Inbox's main purpose is to centralise the guest communication with the Airbnb guests into your SabeeApp account.
Unified Inbox module collects and shows the incoming emails and SMS messages from the guests from Airbnb and just as easily you have the possibility to reply to them from this inbox.
How to enable the module:
In order to start using the Unified Inbox module, all you need to do is to navigate to Settings / Subscription menu. Then, enable the toggle for activating the Unified Inbox.
After activating the module, a new icon will appear in the top right corner of the menu bar.
Two possible scenarios:
Scenario 1: You already have an up and running synchronisation between your Airbnb and SabeeApp account:In this case, click on Distribution /Chanel Manager /Connected Channels/ Airbnb and scroll down to Host Authorization section.
Click on the "Connect Unified Inbox to Airbnb" button next to your host ID. You will be redirected to Airbnb, sign in to that account and by signing in you allow SabeeApp to handle the messaging via the Unified inbox.
Please note that you have to repeat these steps with all the host ID's where you would like to use the Unified Inbox.
Scenario 2: Currently you do not have any active synchronisation between your SabeeApp and Airbnb account.
In this case, first it is advised to complete the connection process! Find the GUIDE for it in this help article .
If you have already enabled Unified Inbox module, then during the connection process to Airbnb, the Unified Inbox will be connected as well.
Important note: you will start receiving messages from the moment on, you connected your SabeeApp account with Airbnb. There is no possibility to import messages or historical data, before the establishment of the connection with Airbnb.
Functions of the Unified Inbox:
- In the search bar you will have the possibility to search for the guest name and for the content of the messages.
- With the help of the filters you can easily browse your messages, by Reservation Status, Message Type, Message Status.
- Sort function makes it possible to set the time order of the messages.
List view of messages:
- Here we show the profile picture of the guest, or if it is not available, the first letters of first name - last name.
- This shows the status of the message. The green dot means - a new unread message, yellow dot - the last message was sent by you to the guest, none - the guest texted last, and there was no response from your side.
- Here you can see the name of the guest, and also the first two lines of their message
- These are the hashtags that we are using in the filter bar. These are default hashtags, there is no possibility to set custom ones.
- Date when you had last interaction with the guest.
Structure of the messages:
On the top of the conversation you can close or delete the conversation. If you close, you are still able to search for the thread later on, but if you delete, you will not be able to do so! Deletion is permanent, however, the deletion affects only your Unified Inbox in SabeeApp, the thread will remain in your Airbnb extranet.
On the right hand side of the conversation window, you can see the contact information of the guests and the details of their booking.
The text - "Via Airbnb", under the message box gives you information about the source of the message and the time when it was sent.
In the left bottom corner, with the help of the leaflet icon you can choose from different message templates and with the clip icon you can also attach files.
You can also send Special Offer to your guest by clicking on the button. This option appears only, if the guest made a reservation. In case of requiry type of reservation.
Here you can offer another roomtype, dates and number of guests for the guest. They have 24 hours for the response. In case they don't reply within 24 hours, the offer will be rejected automatically.
