## What is _TM30 reporting_ in Thailand?

TM30 is Thailand’s foreign national residence notification. It requires the host — the housemaster, possessor or manager of the property — to report the stay of non-Thai nationals to the local immigration office.

In accordance with the 1979 immigration act, hoteliers accommodating foreign travellers must notify the local immigration authorities within 24 hours.
