      SMS templates

      SMS SERVICE INFORMATION

      The SMS messaging feature is an extra service and therefore has an additional cost.
      If you would like to enable SMS messaging, go to Settings → Subscription in your SabeeApp account and click “Add credits”.

      Purchasing SMS Credits

      • You can buy 100 SMS credits for a one-time fee of 10 €.

      • This cost is added on top of your monthly subscription fee.

      • Once the credits are added, you can check your remaining balance under Subscription → SMS Credits.

        • 1 SMS = 1 SMS Credit

      • When your credits run out, you can purchase more at any time from the same menu.

      Creating SMS Templates

      You can set up your SMS templates under:
      Settings → SMS Messages → SMS Templates → Add New

      Requirements for Sending SMS Messages

      The SMS sending function will work only if:

      1. The guest’s phone number is entered on the reservation’s detailed page.

      2. The phone number is provided in the correct international format:
        “+” + country code + number

        • Example: +442921680588

      IMPORTANT INFORMATION – SMS TEMPLATE GUIDELINES

      1. Include "NOREPLY" in the message
      All SMS templates must clearly state that they are noreply messages. Guests should not respond to these messages.

      2. SMS Character Limits

      • A single SMS can contain up to 160 characters.

      • If the text is longer, it will be split into multiple segments — maximum of 10 segments allowed.

      • Using GSM-7 basic characters only (standard letters, numbers, punctuation):

        • 1 segment = 160 characters

        • Up to 10 segments = 1,400 characters total

      • If even one special character is used, such as:

        • Emojis 😊

        • Accented letters (é, ü, ñ)

        • Non-Latin characters
          → The message will be sent in Unicode, reducing the limit to:

        • 1 segment = 70 characters

        • Up to 10 segments = 700 characters total

      3. Recommendation
      To avoid message splitting and higher costs, keep SMS content short and include only essential information (e.g., codes or key instructions). Provide any additional details via email.
