The team of SabeeApp grew big. From a couple of people, working at the one room apartment we grew to a big and international team. Now we need to carefully and thoughtfully plan our gatherings but this one was the very first when each and every team member joined at one place.
As you most probably know, the main residency of SabeeApp is in the very heart of Budapest. Headquarters contain the majority of the team. However, we have other colleagues scattered around the world in Thailand, Malaysia, Turkey, Bulgaria, UK, Germany, Serbia and etc. So to gather all of them to one place at the same time is quite a challenge. But this time we did it!
What happened during the Workshop week?
The whole week (March 4-8) was dedicated for the internal trainings. It was a great chance for new team members (and oldies) to refresh the knowledge about the industry and SabeeApp in general.
After first two days of general trainings, we divided the teams into Sales and Customer Service. David was holding sales related trainings for newly joined colleagues while Réka introduced the Customer Service peculiarities for her team. It was an intensive learning course that took basically full day. We tried to cover as much as possible. The goal of this workshop/training was to ensure, that new joiners can start working on their own as soon as they are back to their countries.
At the very last day of this intensive but nice week we had a closing party. All day was dedicated just to get to know each other even more. Walk around, talk, share views and experiences. We heard the speech of CEO (Szabolcs) and short presentations of each department. So everyone got a better picture and understanding what each of us is doing.
Then we had a bit of singing, team building activities, cake testing and all the other fun that came along. 😀
